We are now heralded as one of Ireland’s most exciting retail stores, with a host of award-winning cafes, restaurants and food markets crammed with artisanal ingredients from near and far.We are currently looking for a full time Commis Chef for our Avoca Dunboyne Store. The ideal candidate would ideally have some kitchen experience working in a fast-paced service environment.Responsibilities· Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients· Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters· Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed.· Working closely with kitchen chefs and following instruction· Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stockKey Requirements:

1-2 years’ experience in a Professional kitchen.
Experience of H.A.C.C.P. documentation
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Maintain high standards of personal hygiene
Professional and courteous manner
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Ability to deal and communicate effectively with staff and customers at all levels
Ability to follow accurately and issue instructions, written or oral
