Junior Quantity Surveyor – Waterford

- Assist senior surveyors with the management of project costs from pre-contract to final account.
- Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, budgets, and bills of quantities.
- Monitor project progress, measuring costs and variations.
- Assist with subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payment applications.
- Support in preparing financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
- Work closely with site and project teams to ensure projects are delivered within budget and to agreed standards.
- Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- 1–3 years’ post-graduate experience, ideally within residential or commercial construction.
- Exposure to large housing schemes, commercial builds, or student accommodation projects would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other cost management tools.
