
Grocery Key Account Manager

- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key grocery partners, ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets and grow market share within assigned accounts.
- Market Analysis: Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Negotiation: Negotiate annual JBPs, pricing, and promotional agreements with key accounts to maximise profitability and enhance brand visibility.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, sales and finance, to ensure alignment and support for account initiatives.
- Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance, market conditions, and account developments to senior management.
- NPD Opportunities: Identify & secure new business opportunities either through NPD listings/distribution gains or new category expansion.
- Management: Manage & direct 3rd party field sales team to ensure all commercial & brand targets are achieved.
- You’re a good communicator and negotiation comes naturally to you
- Understanding of the FMCG sector and managing large accounts
- You’ve got a sharp eye for detail and enjoy digging into the data to find insights.
- You approach problem solving creatively and are focused on results
- Building relationships comes naturally to you—whether it’s with team members or clients.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM software
